Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for celebrating with us!

We can't wait to share the joy of our wedding day with our family, friends and church family. Here you'll find our story, everything you need to know about the day, and how to let us know you're coming.

With love, Gamu & Prince

Our Story

From church hellos to forever

  1. October 2025

    “Do you remember my name?”

Prince first noticed Gamu at church. After every service, one of them would say hi, and he would ask if she knew his name. Unfortunately, every Sunday he had to remind her.

  2. January 11, 2026

    The tennis rackets

During fellowship after service, Prince spotted Gamu with tennis rackets. He asked where she played and offered to take her to a court near his school sometime. That's how he got her number.

  3. The first “date”

A driving lesson in a parking lot

Prince had just got his learner's permit and needed someone to help him practice for his road test, so Gamu offered. She confidently agreed to teach him parallel parking, something she still can't quite do herself.

  4. Then, slowly

    Something started to change

Somewhere between the driving lessons, the long phone calls, conversations about gospel music and two-to-three-hour late-night chats, the quiet “brother from church” became someone more.

  5. The dinner invitation

“Wait… is this still a church brother situation?”

Gamu went anyway. They talked, laughed and got to know each other, and the rest is history.

  6. June 29, 2026

    The proposal by the river

Prince suggested a relaxed afternoon in the park. Behind the scenes, he had planned everything with Gamu's friend. Saying he'd forgotten something in the car, he slipped away, collected the flowers and the ring, and walked back along the river while her friend filmed. When he reached her, he went down on one knee, and she said yes.

She said yes

By the river, with flowers in his hand and her friend quietly filming, Prince asked, and Gamu said yes.

Prince, on Gamu

I love the way she believes in me and supports me in every situation of life, and the way she knows and preaches the Word of God. We read the Word together, pray together and fast together. Being with her inspires me to be a better version of myself; she brings out the best in me. I am truly grateful to have her by my side.

Gamu, on Prince

What I love most about him is the way he adores me and has made me feel whole again. I love his gentleness and his calm; he is truly the calm to my storm. He communicates with me, considers me, values me and makes me feel seen. But most of all, I love his heart for God. I always wanted someone I could pray and fast with, and learn His Word with, without feeling judged. Someone who loves gospel music as much as I do. And somehow, I found my match.
